Fixed Gage Standards

Fixed gage standards are measurement devices used to gage a specific feature on a part, where the feature being measuring is a diameter, radius, angle, screw pitch, thickness, or other feature type. A single fixed gage can only accurately gage a specific dimension.

Shop Fixed Gage Standards

Taper Gages

Taper gages are precision ground to a specific thickness which corresponds to a graduation on the side of the tool. Often used in slots and dimensioning recesses of parts.

Pin Gages

Pin gages (also known as plug gages) are used to test hole size and it's geometry.
